This has happened numerous times;4) Finding a signal and keeping it. This is actually the second Nokia 6085h I have owned the first one quit working after 18 days. Very poor for maintaining a signal;5) The camera does really suck but I didn't get it for the camera;6) Holding the phone and placing a finger or any thing over the top outside portion of the screen will cause the person you are talking to not be able to hear you; basically as if your dropping the call;7) Not especially durable, as some have said the plastic feels fragile and it is.Some good things about the phone:1) Good volume control;2) Apps are good;3) I found the menu navigation pretty straight forward;4) Once you get a USB data cable transferring files is easy allowing to select mp3's for a ring tone;5) It is likely a good phone I think I just got unlucky and ended up with two lemons. I live in the shadow of a cell tower owned by the cellular provider I am with and on occasion this phone will say no service or give 1 bar or 2 bars. The second one although working is failing fast now just a year old. The issues I am having with this model are plenty:1) The screen has a dark dead line across the center;2) Frequent SIM Card can not be read issues (there is nothing wrong with the SIM card have tried several cards;3) It doesn't ring sometimes when a call is received you find out hours later when you go to dial some one that you have voice messages.
you should make it clear on your unlocked cell phones you are selling cdma and where they will work and and on what carrier they work
The first feature a phone needs to have is strong reception. I am impressed enough with its reception that I felt the need to write a review to correct the nonsense out there.Other pros - Very sturdy build (just like other Nokia phones).Camera is VGA but takes surprisingly usable pics with good color but plenty of grain if the light is low.Quad band phone - works worldwide.Built in speaker is good quality - works well as a speaker phone or for playing music.Interface is totally customisable (big plus for me). I tried a Tmobile Sim card on the unlocked phone. Tried the same sim card on a Razr, a Sony-Ericsson, and a Samsung - and can get reception only near the windows.
This is the ONLY thing I hate about this phone.Doesn't "look" as good - but - what good are "looks" if the reception sucks (like my samsung).Video is a jerky and pretty low rez - but you can shoot for as long as you want with the memory card.I only get 3 - 4 days standby with both my phones with some usage thrown in.Radio needs use of a stereo headset (my mono nokia headset did not seem to cut it - not that I have use for a radio).Screen was marginally better on the Samsung - but it rated a zero for poor reception.No headphone jack - so I can't use my existing earphones for listening to music.If you have reception issues - this is a phone to consider. I can now access bluetooth menu via one keypress.Small in size. Complete with customisable and preset equalizers.Light and small.Keys are large - easy to see - with solid tactile feedback.Loud ringer - very convenient.Good voice quality - both for the person listening to you and at your end.Cons - Does not have a standard mini-usb jack for data. It has all the features you will normally use in a small sturdy flip phone. Charging also uses a custom jack. I own one of these phones from ATT and was so impressed got another one for my Dad in another country (Quad band phone helps here).
Flip design means screen and keys are protected by default.I put a 2 gig card in there - plenty of storage for all the videos, voice, and pics - and the phone can be told to use this memory by default (very convenient).Bluetooth works well with no issues using multiple bluetooth headsets from motorola and jabra.Voice recording works well.Bluetooth works smoothly - if you have a stereo bluetooth headset - this phone can be your MP3 player. Plus - everything works - and works well. With this phone, I could now get reception everywhere inside my house. This point alone has me thrilled.
This is a great phone even if you don't plan to do any traveling.the fact that it's unlocked alows you the freedom to do so.
Of course.Very poor quality. They told me ALL parts are covered under my warranty EXCEPT the liquid screen. I purchased this cell phone supposedly new and because it had a warranty. Right after my 30 day product warranty ran out.wouldn't you know it, the liquid screen went on my phone.
